  The consecration of an Armenian Khachkar (Cross-stone) on the grounds of the Temple of Peace in Cardiff on November 3rd, 2007 for the memory of the victims of the 1915 Genocide of Armenians in Ottoman Turkey was a landmark event, since this is the first time such a monument is built on public soil in the UK. The permission was granted by the Cardiff City Council. The building of the monument done by Welsh stonemason following an Armenian design was made possible by Welsh Armenian John Torossian.

  H.E. ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan, His Grace Bishop Nathan Hovhannisyan and Lord Daffyd, Presiding Officer of the Welsh Assembly.   Ambassador is about to lay the first wreath.   Lord Daffyd receives a blessed cross-stone, a gift from His Holiness Garegin B, the Catholicos of All Armenians.
           
  Stephen Thomas, the Director of the Temple of Peace address the audience.   Hundreds of Armenians from across all of the UK and many Welsh people have come to pay tribute.   And groups of Turks have come to protest against the truth.

  At the Armenia's Independence Day annual celebration Ambassador Gabrielyan welcomes the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, H.E. Khalid Al Duwaisan, Ambassador of Kuwait. 21.09.2007   Ambassador and Mrs. Gabrielyan welcome Stephen Pound, MP and his spouse.   Guests seem to enjoy the party.

  Young people attended the assembly with interest.   At the annual Embassy Reception on the occassion of the Day of Beauty and Motherhood (April 7th) , Mrs. Hasmik Gabrielyan, the host of the event, with Janet Martirossian, Nora Armani, Sella Tenjoukian and Regina Pargev. 13.04.2007   Ladies enjoy the hospitality.

  Minister Oskanian, Ambassador Gabrielyan, Irish Ambassador to Yerevan Justin Harman and Karine Khoudaverdian from Armenia's Foreign Ministry study the medieval Armenian manuscripts at the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin. 28.02.2007   The manuscripts are well taken care of.   Minister Oskanian, Dublin Central Library curator and Ambassador Gabrielyan formally launch the exhibition of Armenian  photographs to open in April.
