International Social Services FairMay 13-14th. As has been the custom for many years, Armenia was once again represented at the annual International Social Services Fair (also known as Diplomatic Fair or Sring Fair), a world market showcase of craft and food. 
Members of the Armenian House Ladies Committee, who ran the Armenian stall, together with Mrs. Hasmik Gabrielyan (centre), the Ambassadors's spouse. Organic dried foods, hand-carved wooden plates, hand-woven ladies' purses and handbags, Armenian chocolates and preserves, among other things, were offered at the Armenian stall and were a great success. Most Diplomatic Missions accredited in London take part in the Fair and as a rule the Spouses of Ambassadors or High Commissioners undertake the responsibility for organizing the country stalls. All proceeds of the Spring Fair go the ISS UK which spends them on a variety of charity purposes.
