The Repatriation Certificate of the Republic of Armenia (RA) is a temporary travel document issued only to the citizens of the RA.

The certificate is issued to:

. the citizens of the RA who have lost their Armenian Passport, while being abroad; 
. the citizens of the RA who have an urgent need to travel back to Armenia but have an expired Armenian Passport;
. the children of the citizens of the RA born in foreign countries and having no other citizenship.

The application package for a Repatriation Certificate includes the following documents:

1. A completed application/questionnaire (click here to download);
2. The expired Armenian passport (if available);
3. Copies of the lost passport (if available);
4. Two clear colour passport-size photos;
5. Copies of any additional documents issued by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, such as birth certificate, military service book, etc. (if available);
6. State fee of 47 UK pounds*.

* This fee is charged only in case of a lost Armenian passport. In all other cases the Repatriation Certificate is issued free of charge.

Important information

. The validity of the Repatriation Certificate is one month from the day of issuance.

. The Certificate is for return to Armenia only.

. In case of a lost Armenian passport the application process for Repatriation Certificate may require 2-4 months. In cases of expired passports and children of  citizens of Armenia without other citizenship the process is 3-4 working days.

. For those citizens of Armenia who apply from Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway the fee is 52 UK pounds (an additional 5 pounds is charged to send the document back to the applicant by International signed for postal service). The money must be transferred to the bank account of the Armenian Embassy in London. For our bank account details, please contact us from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 13.00. . Those citizens of Armenia who apply for a Repatriation Certificate from the UK by post, need to provide the Embassy with a prepaid Special delivery envelope. In this case the fee of 47 UK pounds will be accepted in postal orders only.

. Those citizens of Armenia applying from Ireland can pay the fee either by postal orders, or via bank trank transfer.

. The Embassy of Armenia in the UK carries no responsibility for delays caused by the postal services.
