Armenian Community of Britain Celebrates Armenia's Independence Day

September 19, 2009. An evening concert to mark the 18th Anniversary of Armenia's Independence was organized by the Armenian Community and Church Council of Great Britain and the Embassy of Armenia at St. Eghishe Church. Talented young artists from Armenia and the UK entertained the audience during the evening. In his address, Ambassador Gabrielyan presented the achievements of the Republic of Armenia during the last years, as well as outlined the major challenges that the country faces now. He paid special attention to the recent developments in Armenia's foreign relations, in particular regarding the Armenian-Turkish relations.
