Armenia's Ambassador to Ireland Meets the Armenian Community of Ireland

Dublin.11 July, 2009 The Ambassador of Armenia to Ireland H.E. Dr. Vahe Gabrielyan visited Dublin to meet representatives of the Irish-Armenian Community.

Armenians living in several cities of Ireland had travelled to Dublin to discuss with Armenia's Ambassador several issues related to their presence in Ireland, particularly the modalities of Embassy's possible assistance in setting up an Armenian Sunday School, an idea that has been put forward and is actively promoted by Ohan Yerkainharsian, an Armenian Dubliner for over two decades.

Lively discussions took place and the meeting came up with a timetable of specific measures to reach the goal. A commitee was elected to carry out the plan.

In the meeting that lasted about five hours, Ambassador Gabrielyan answered numerous questions that were of interest for the community.
